•  Cosmologia Física: Do Micro ao Macro Cosmos e Vice-Versa

    Este texto destina-se principalmente a professores e estudantes da graduação e de pós-graduação das áreas de exatas. Pretende-se aqui contribuir à compreensão  e divulgação do conhecimento que o Homem tem hoje a respeito do Universo e suas componentes por meio da apresentação e discussão dos múltiplos ingredientes quem compõem a Cosmologia contemporânea do ponto de vista das forças elementares, as quais sabemos, definem as características e a história do nosso Universo. Indo além da mera descrição qualitativa, apresenta-se um tratamento matemático simples baseado em analogias e exemplos, mas sempre buscando dar ênfase à essência dos fenômenos físicos. As muitas figuras, diagramas e múltiplos textos auxiliares do livro tem propósitos didáticos e subsidiam a melhor compreensão dos conceitos em foco. Esperamos que a leitura desse livro, sobretudo, estimule ainda mais o desejo de questionar e de conhecer o que tanto prezamos: nosso Universo.
